Just replaced the battery in the alarm in the hall that I removed at 03:15 about 3 weeks ago.

Well there's a thing.

I've had boxes of 10 duracell that were flat or otherwise fecked straight out of the box, brand new.

All 10 the same.

Unimpressive really.

I'd be innerested to see what the Amazon brand are like.

It's a lethargic one with a half arsed beep every 5 minutes or so telling me either the backup battery is dead or it needs to be fully replaced. I'm assuming it's the former at the moment but if it's the latter we will add it to the list of jobs our friendly electrician needs to get round to doing.
