Just replaced the battery in the alarm in the hall that I removed at 03:15 about 3 weeks ago.Originally posted by eek View PostNeed to find one of those square battery thingies as one of the fire alarms is beeping.
Heck I really should get 4 and fix all of them for the next x years before the others start beeping.
Well there's a thing.

I've had boxes of 10 duracell that were flat or otherwise fecked straight out of the box, brand new.
All 10 the same.
Unimpressive really.
I'd be innerested to see what the Amazon brand are like.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 2 October 2020, 15:16.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

It's a lethargic one with a half arsed beep every 5 minutes or so telling me either the backup battery is dead or it needs to be fully replaced. I'm assuming it's the former at the moment but if it's the latter we will add it to the list of jobs our friendly electrician needs to get round to doing.Originally posted by ladymuck View PostIs that a beeping fire alarm, or a beeping fire alarm?
