    Morning all

Blue skies and little fluffy clouds being propelled across the sky by a howling gale.

Last nights entertainment ended up being a binge watch of Staged with David Tennant and Michael Sheen and assorted other theatrical types, including a couple that make you go "how the hell did that manage to get them involved?"

Excellent and laugh out loud two or three times per episode, and they are only 15 mins each.

First coffee consumed, second being lined up.

One has run out of pudding rice (BBE 2016).

I might have to purchase more (BBE 2023).

      When the fun stops, STOP.

        Morning denizens

Patchy cloud out: more cloud than not, but with the sun breaking through frequently for varying periods. 17°C and a light breeze

to all the Surreyites as I pootled down the A24 this morning.

No cyclists (motor or pedal) were harmed.

The gas struts for my boot have been successfully replaced. No swearing either!

Exercise bicycling done, green ring closed

The EPG, final source of truth in such matters, asserts that Monkey Life starts at 3pm

Odd sometimes to be grateful that you have gas!

                enjoy the sticks.

Other than when it's wrong of course, as it was on Film4 the other evening.

Lunch: roast beef, followed by stewed gooseberries and custard, and 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

The beef was definitely more meh than stuff I've bought from Morrisons.

I've now reached the portion of "Poisoned Peace" by Gregor Dallas that is raising my blood pressure.

It's about our great "allies" the Septics, Lease Lend, and their cunning plan to reduce us to penury.

Which, of course, worked well until they suddenly discovered how all the Septic bureaucrats responsible for this were spys & fellow travellers for Uncle Joe.

Just checked, and reality seems to be conforming so far

Lunch has been some cocktail sausages with a bag of plain crisps

Sunday afternoon trip to Tesco and Morrisons completed apart from the usual inability to find any pudding rice.

Everything duly washed over before being put away.
