I forgot to mention last night that the Bailey's was off. It had been donated to a raffle last year, and won by HWMBO's youngest, and it turns out no-one had checked the date on it before accepting it as prize. Expired Sept 2012. Definitely tasted wrong. I only had a couple of sips before declaring it unfit.

            Morning denizens

Nice sunny day, already up to 19°C and climbing

I didn’t set any alarms last night so I could see how much sleep my brain wanted. Turns out a little over eight hours was sufficient for it to decide it was time to wake me up with an amusing dream about a squirrel. Though as I can’t remember any details of the dream, I suspect it just made me dream I’d had an amusing dream etc. as a way of waking me up

you mean baileys can actually taste worse than it normally does?

The BBE 2013 M&S frozen peas are a bit odd too, but I'm eating them anyway.

They seem to have freeze dried in the packet with the water ending up outside the pea rather than inside it, which explains why the packet has swollen so much and everything inside requires a good thump before it deigns to come out.
                  When the fun stops, STOP.

It’s the cream that goes off. If you could find a way of extracting the whisky, that would still be fine
