Except, if I go in to my booking, I can buy more luggage space, change seats, etc.
And I can't get a refund, but I can pay to change to another flight.
Their IT will slowly catch up. Eventually. Maybe.

        Now not chucking it down.

I have a missed call from a pimp (OK, a permie only pimp, but hey it's a call) whilst in the crapper.

An appropriate place from which to answer the call, surely?

Many fluffy clouds, some a bit grey, with a bit of blue poking through here and there.

            Dry.

            A stiff breeze.

Off to The Peacock Theatre this evening to see a show.

More of "The Bright Shining Lie" read.

John Paul Vann had a remarkable upbringing.

Plus a few (very few) pages of The Mitrokhin Archive, I suspect this will take A Very Long Time to read.

Headache again. Not keen on this lurgy, mild though it is in other ways

Tea: M&S chunky breaded haddock, with, as a special treat, some fried slices of potato since I don't do chips.

Nice enough, though the fish was overcooked again, probably due to the fried spud.

Orange segments and rather thin custard (end of tin of custard powder), rounded off with 1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Currently watching the commentary on "Their Finest (hour and a half)", which, as usual, is fleshing out stuff one might have missed first time through.

Since I turn the subtitles on as well, some of the less audible dialogue is equally fleshed out, though having a Stuka dive bomber sound effect described as "jet roar" is bit anachronistic.
