HWMBO and I are off to see this, this evening:

    Knives Out (2019) - IMDb

Preview cos it's not out until Thursday

Got quite a sparkly cast, and has a fun premise. Should be good.

Lamb chops, chips, peas, and gravy with lashings of mint sauce for tea. Lovely stuff

An ambulance on blue lights just went up the side road over the way, which seems to happen two or three times a week at the moment. It’s just terraced houses up there and they don’t even extend much further than here because the goods railway cuts them off from the next block up this road, and the line of the old Great Central cuts them off from the area over towards the river. Either there’s one person who’s in a terrible state on a frequent basis but always well enough to come home the next day, or it’s an entire community of the utterly decrepit over there

TBH I'd forgotten I'd even applied - it was back at the start of October...
Sounds about right. I'd forgotten about applying for my job in Eyer Edjukashen by the time I was invited for interview in January.

My predeceased predecessor popped his clogs at the grand old age of 53 the previous November 4th.

Currently watching "Nazi War Machines" on More4 which is about that 'Itler's planes & such (including the ME163 the flying death trap) , to be followed by "Nazi Megastructures" at 22:00.

Also the V1 and the V2 and the ME262.

Preceeded by BTVS S6 E9 & 10 wherein Amy gets deratted and Willow goes to the Dark Side, also Angel S3 E9 wherein Darla gives birth in an unusual way.

The Megastructures thing is about stuff the Nazis built during the invasion of the USSR.

And stuff the USSR built in an attempt to discourage them a bit.

I was so stunned I asked her to repeat! Then I gave her a hug(I suppose the #metoo movement will be on to me later!).

She asked for a tissue. We talked a little. She is graduating down in Southwark at 12:30. Her boyfriend is a ****ing idiot, ****ing retard, and several other things I cannot remember.

A lady passed and stopped looking at us. So I beckoned her over. She was going to Barbican tube, and it was agreed the lady from the car would walk with other lady to Barbican tube. So I apprached the car to tell boyfriend what was happening. He looked quite bemused! Before I could say anything, the lady from the car run up shouting "he is a ****ing idiot. Don't ****ing tell him anything." So me and the lady who had stopped walked off leaving them arguing.

I bet by now they have kissed and made up. I think she wanted a bit of space so hopefully I helped with that.

Thank $deity you didn't marry her

chorizo in red wine sauce, miss V2's new favourite. Cats are pleased they get new food dishes.

                  Hunter chicken with roast mushies.

leftover Kedgeree, cooked it but ran out of dishes so I had to eat it.

I really miss the beef soup Heinz used to do. Their oxtail or beef stew comes nowhere close

Back to people who speak languages I don’t understand (much) on the box tonight with S4 of Spiral/Engrenages: Episode #4.1 (TV Episode 2012), and Episode #4.2 (TV Episode 2012)

And it’s in HD from this season (or series), which makes a nice change from the SD of the first three

                      Goodnight all
