Living Room Windows Open!

That one’s going to be restricted to only opening about six inches from now on, but the other one is OK - well, they’re all a bit stiff, but that’s only to be expected after all this time
Glad it’s a warmish day, as I’m now basking in a gentle flow of fresh 14° air from the windowComment

Went to Philpott's for lunch. Completely meh and massively overpriced. Went there for breakfast a few months ago and it was excellent. Simple solution: avoid lunch at Philpott's!!The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't existComment

Lunch: poached tomato and scrambled egg on Morrisons multiseeded toast (crust), beetroot sandwich, bramble jelly sandwich, 1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea.
Weather: grey, dark, dank, dreary, drizzly, curiously warm, sunless.
Leg: it's still there. The curious colours are fading, the gel makes trouser leg stick to leg, along with the sock.
Ho hum. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment
