    Geez.
don't get old without setting your affairs so that your carers can manage them, people.
you wouldn't Believe the aggravation and jobsworths they'll have to deal with otherwise.

    Rant over

Can you setup direct debits for most of the bills?

I've found one and it's ordered (see my complaint about a bug in Currys website above) just need to use other means to cook until the 15th when it will arrive and be installed.

Now just working out if we should replace the cooker hood (which has always been tulip) at the same time.
If you can find one in stock do it.

Yes, been there done that got the t shirt.

        Twice.

        Ho hum.

I think I've still got chequebooks for Mater and Pater despite both accounts being closed.

The biggest pain in the arse was the Halifax.

Multiple visits and endless tulipe with incompetents.

In the end had to turn up with Strangelove Sis since no one fecks with her and survives intact.

Now wtf is TTSS when it's at home?

Discovered that I've got quite weak.

Definitely not in the Barrett league any more.

I'll have to downsize to the .338 Lapua.

        Even that'll be a struggle.

              Thanks.

Presumably being the one where Peter Guillam is gay for no readily apparent reason.

It was ok but not a patch on the tv series.

Nice to see Gary Oldman as something other than a scenery chewing villain.

              <hiatus>

Lunch: Heinz ham and lentil soup, Morrisons sunflower and pumpkin seed bread (not, as I'd thought wholemeal sunflower and spelt which was out of stock last Sunday, just to keep things clear, like), bramble jelly sandwich on crust of same, red pippy corner yog, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Bit more gardening done since I was getting bored.

Always best to do little & often rather than letting it accumulate until you need a fecking chainsaw to mow the lawn.

Sad day today. Geoffrey Boycatt has played his last innings. He retired hurt a few weeks ago but wasn't going to make a comeback.

He had a tumour under his tongue and in his throat so wasn't able to eat or drink over the past 2 weeks, so we have done what was necessary this afternoon.

He walked into our home 15 years ago and never left...
