Watched the final part of Vienna Blood. That was tedious. I ended up skipping a few bits just to get to the end.

Then skipped over to C4 for 24 Hours in A&E. Season 20 (!) Episode 1 as I'm a bit behind.

Now to bed. Handover week means no WFH and getting up at 6 am.

Some of the reviews are funny, especially the 1* ones on IMDB.

The funniest is someone from far far away who manages to set it in 1960 rather than 1940 but there you go.

I’m not too worried about Coronavirus. The BBC haven’t rolled out Orla yet. Can’t be too serious.

Tonight’s viewing started with more about Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. They now have adult patients even though it’s always been a children’s hospital because they’ve been able to keep them alive when previously they would have died in childhood; as such patients have never stayed alive so long before, it’s hard to find specialists who know how to continue their treatment as adults

          And then Forbrydelsen S2E6

Still raining; seems it’ll probably carry on all night.

          Goodnight all

Overcast but bright enough, wet ground but no active precipitation. Quite warm. Probably didn't need my scarf.

I had some really weird dreams and quite disturbed sleep. Can't remember them now, of course.

Wet and mucking fiserable in Manchester today...

Although it is not actually too cold.

In talking to the parentals at the weekend my mum mentioned how the local Sainsbury's was totally out of toilet roll and other tissue based products. Not being retarded, she didn't see the point of emergency stockpiling and only went to buy some because she needed it.

Yesterday, she emailed me about some bits I was after from my Nan's flat and mentioned "still no effing toilet roll". I knew Ocado had some so I offered to put in an order and have it delivered. Only half joking but she took me up on it.

To make up the £40 min order I had to add four bottles of wine and a packet of digestives

My parents are very happy that they now won't have to use the Sunday papers to wipe their behinds with.

                  Grey.

                  Dark.

                  Dank.

                  Dreary.

                  Drizzly.

River very high again after the rain overnight.

                  Sunless.

                  Tuesday apparently.

Leg complained less when I staggered out of bed this morning.
