I have booked a car, with more useable boot space than my own, for two hours tomorrow to move things into my storage unit.

Let's be honest virtually any car would have more usable boot space than yours. I suspect even my JCW mini has more - mind you that transports both a baritone and a tenor saxophone (granted with 1 seat down) every Friday so it probably does.
