Often free advice the the most expensive of all.

If you're going to quote your divorce lawyer, at least have the decency to reference him.

Why do you think its a him?
It was a her. Until I became my own lawyer. And I won!

I loved it when my feminist friend said she was moving house. Use my lawyer I said. Whats his name said she. It was a her lawyer. I never let her forget that.....

It was a good thread. Unfortunately it spoils the humour of the joke.

New dining room furniture has arrived but i need to assemble the table - as I saved £300 by purchasing it from Bristol rather than locally.

It doesn't seem to go with the sideboard but a sideboard in the same style has appeared on ebay so I might bid on that.

Soup for lunch - not homemade this time, but Heinz Tomato Soup out of a proper tin and everything, accompanied by a thick chunk of sesame bloomer. Lovely

Weird news from the Consumer Tracking Division of Sainsbury’s: last year, I was the #5 buyer of Taste the Difference Kenyan coffee beans at the big Sainsbury’s

I don’t even drink very much coffee these days - one double-strength cup a day is all. If I go back to drinking as much as I used to, I bet I can get to #1 this year and sleeping be damned!
