Bit of shopping done this morning.

          Bit of lunch.

Then out to Machine Mart for some angle grinder disks.

Onward to Dunhelm where I felt rather out of place & purchased an Addis superdry mop to replace the one the building oiks destroyed.

Thence to Wilkes where I purchased a sharpening device and an oil stone.

Followed by a visit to B&Q (since it was on the way home( where I got a pot of paint reduced to £15.

Drove past Maplins since there was nothing I wanted to buy there last week, and so home.

Where, after tea, I mowed five lawns, the 6th being covered in building oiks detritus.

Then watched the latest ep of "Deep State" which is as incomprehensible as ever and requred further brain food in the form of spam and tomato sauce sarnies (for no readily apparent reason).

Now mildly pissed on port and looking for something to watch in one of the piles of dvds.
          When the fun stops, STOP.

Takeaway; and very nice it was too

Now that's eaten, I'm going to settle down with a glass of beer and a film of some kind

Rather than Ingmar Bergman, tonight's movie mayhem was provided by The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 and Part 2. As with the previous two, they were pretty good

There was a rather unfortunate scene of pseudo-Irish folk dancing a night or so before the big battle commenced, which is always a risk one faces with these films. But on the other hand, it was briefer and much less ludicrous than the depiction of the last free human beings all getting together for a massive rave the night before their final fight for survival commenced, as seen in The Matrix Reloaded; so I'll let them off

                      Goodnight all
