Time to depart to see if the Miele fixit man has arrived yet.

        Usually turns up after 16:00.

        Sometimes after 17:00.
        When the fun stops, STOP.

          No sign yet.

Just been handed a rather thick important looking envelope for the New Owners of next door.

Apparently it was hiding under a bag of cement.

Strewth it's warm in here today.

The "laundry room", such as it is, has been prepared for the attendance of the technician.

Stout bolts on the door to prevent his departure before it's properly fixed?

Sausage and bacon cob with red sauce for lunch. Most satisfying

I keep getting the vague feeling of "Oh no, Tuesday tomorrow" then remembering Tuesday is just Tuesday now

                Miele fixit man duly attended.

Machine fault apparently due to duff connector.

                Seems to be fixed now.

Friday will be the real test

Tea, following yesterday's debacle with the unidentifiable "meat", consisted of some Morrisons breaded plaice.

It was very nice but could have done with a little less cooking.

Certainly nicer than the "meat of unknown origin" was yesterday.

Another floating shelf has been erected in the "kitchen", ready to receive some more pots and pans.

I may even erect the thingie the utensils hanged off in the Strangelove parents' house kitchen.

And there needs to be more ( you can never have enough) shelves in the "laundry room" so stuff can be moved off the freezer, if only to make access to yet more "stuff of unknown origin" a little easier.

Had an email from my mate who ended up with a colostomy.

He's still fighting some 'orrible infection that they need to get under control so they can start on the chemo.

He can't have radiation coz he's already had it for prostate.

                Ho hum.

                    2nd Netball attempt this week.

PE teacher on good form, asking if I knew what diagonal meant.

Only 3 of us turned up, but we managed to throw a ball around and practise passing and defending.

Got twatted on the nose with the ball.

Am now treating with ice. And gin and tonic.
