Autumn is here. Rayburn may be getting fired up soon (after I service it). Harry & Jack (Lime & lemon trees) will be going into the greenhouse for winter.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Rayburn serviced. Pickled onions made (The Wife (tm) started the process yesterday by brining them, she's gone to visit her mother today and tomorrow).
Broad bean plants dug up and bed weeded.
Tomato plants dug out of greenhouse and last ones harvested.
Two bunches of grapes found hiding - still looking good, so they got picked.
Strimmer gearbox stripped, greased and rebuilt.
Lunch on, but with a dilemma - wine or beer?…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

It's a nice sunny afternoon here now
Still rather chilly, though
I'm off round to have Sunday dinner with some friends in a bit. Roast lamb! One of my all-time favourites

Lazy day. But I have managed to grab some braising steak and make a cauldron of goulash which is about 90 minutes from being ready and smelling pretty great. Nom nomComment
