I quite like porridge but I have to be in the mood for it. A squirt of honey is needed though, I'm not made of the right stuff to have it boiled with salt.

How much did you put in it!
I probably put about a teaspoon in mine.
I do cheat and buy the Quaker oats sachets as it's really easy to get the milk/oats ratio right. A bazillion times more expensive but much less waste (flapjacks are too sweet and I don't make fruit crumble puddings all that often).Comment

Today's the day for breaking of the Lenten fast. I seem to have forgotten to do the fasting, but I've got the last bit right as lunch has been a nice big fry-upComment
