Need to see if any parking has rematerialised.

    It's bloomin' lovely out there!

A space was spotted up the far end of the road but I couldn't be bothered to move the car for minimal benefit.

I noticed that the pharmacy around the corner is doing CV antibody tests. Tempted to get one but then I started thinking about what I'd do with the information. If positive then I probably wouldn't change my behaviour. If negative, I might worry a lot more even though my current behaviours have proved sufficient.

Ta forgot posh yogurt as pud!

      Sun's out.

I think I'll wander up the post office whilst it's not raining.

      I may be some time.

My yoghurt of choice at the moment is Oykos Greek Style, either the blueberry or the passion fruit variants. Quite often on offer so not expensive. Very creamy and yummy. None of that low fat malarkey.

They do some super posh ones but I've never seen those in the shops.

Rolling thunder and torrential downpour with special edition jumbo-sized raindrops

Didn't last long; just steady rain now

Had a thunderstorm through here about an hour ago, might be heading your way.

Few quiet rumbles of thunder here, no rain, bright sunshine

Sky turning black, rumbles of thunder approaching but no lightning.

No real rain yet, just a few odd spots.

                    Hot and clammy.

Yesterday was definitely the day for going out on the bike.

It rained not, neither did it thunder.

Bought the tv times after a five minute wait, queuing on the pavement.

Came back & decided to pick gooseberries.

The red ones were really ripe & verging on splitting whilst the yellow ones had achieved that rather uninneresting stage where they're neither fish nor fowl.

Stewed some, put the rest in the freezer.

Tea: Tesco chunky breaded haddock, stewed gooseberries and custard, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

And it's raining now, still sans donner und blitzen.
