The old upright fridge-freezer has left the building, and the new freezer has arrived
Now I need to leave it for a while before switching it on. This is not a problem, as it's not possible to get it in reach of a socket at the moment. I need to build the new cabinet and get it installed, then remove the old cabinet and chuck it away, to get the space in the right place.
The kitchen is actually fairly roomy; there's a number of other pieces of junk in there that I should probably get rid of tooComment

This evening, I have mainly been assembling a kitchen cabinet, with a modicum of success
The next stage is to attach it to the wall. However, I've forgotten to get screws and plugs of a suitable size, so that will have to wait
And I've just remembered there's a neighbourhood watch meeting this evening (the first in many months), but I'm not bothering now - I'm all sweaty from manipulating large wooden structures on my own and by the time I've had a shower, it'll probably be over. Either that or it will have drifted off into one of those meandering discussions of stuff that has no real relevance to anybody but the bloke going on about itComment

I'm watching a TED talk on this - linky
Yeah it's very Americanised but the NHS has been found to fall into this trap as well."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Back in Blighty from Barbaria. The civilised bits are so very civilised, but the remainder is 3rd world.I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).Comment

Same dinner as yesterday
Usually those two-packs of pork rib eye steaks have two around the same size, but today's was a noticeable bit smaller than yesterday's. Not a problem, as it allows more calories from my supposed daily target to be made up of the beer with which I am now going to reward myself for today's effortsComment
