Just popped out to the Amazon Locker. Very chilly out; 3° according to the phone

If I go for a walk later, which I have been considering doing since weighing myself this morning, I may even wear a scarf for the first time this winter.

Slept well for a change, apart from the waking up in a sweat at some time during the night.

And it's a lovely day, so I think I'll go for a walk.

Went for a nice walk up to Tonna lock & back down to Neath.

Bought nothing in Morrisons and there was nothing in the sale at M&S.

It's a lovely day.

I shall do some gardening shortly.

Same here, although sadly almost finished. 1.5 KG does not go far

The "gardening" turned out to be chopping up some more wood for the fire.

It's now drying out in the green house and should be ready to burn by June.

Another geezer had found the remains of the alder trees and was busily helping himself to some of it.

And I've just had some Heinz(tm) Carrot and Coriander soup.

We await with interest the subsequent results.

According to the Radio Times (as recently sold by the Beeb to someone else (2010), and now sold by someone else to the krauts), Longmire is on tomorrow as per usual for a Sunday evening.

However, the Sky box disagreed, as did the TCM listings page, which reckons it's not on until Sunday the 8th.

Ho hum.

Well there's another £2.30 a week I can save from now on.

Correction: it's now £2.50 an issue.

Which seems a tad excessive to me, being >100% increase on the price in 2010.
