You weren't trying to get them to accept 'SueEllen' were you?

Prompted by MS's reference to out of date jelly yesterday, I leapt into action and made a lovely raspberry jelly incorporating the frozen raspberries picked in 2015.

              It was very nice.

Sadly, the jelly was still in date.

In fact, I can't see why it should go out of date, being made of gelatine from hooves, bones etc.

              Just thought I'd share that.

It is important, however, not to confuse

or problems may arise, particularly if the latter is sweating a bit.

Now wondering if gooseberry jelly is available to assist in the disposal of half a freezer full of gooseberries left by ZeitMater.

Doesn't look like it is. Ho hum.

I'll stew some of them instead.

Interestingly (?) enough, freezing doesn't kill them and they have sprouted enthusiastically all over the place from some that got thrown away when the previous freezer died.
