They are great at media, but don’t bother doing their elected job as it doesn’t pay enough or give them enough publicity.

National Farage bought a farm to reduce inheritance tax, he switched from hating UK farmers (he used to campaign that being in the EU meant we couldn’t buy cheaper meat from abroad)
The other person of influence in the company was busy on twitter talking about how only reform were interested in the British fishing industry - he was tweeting it at the time that parliament were debating it, but no one from their company thought it was worth while turning up.

Surely the level of intelligence and civility in the UK has not dropped so much that people can no longer see through the thin veneer.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

Yes we would much rather vote for convicted fraudsters and those that misrepresent themselves on their CV. Oh Well..

The Doomsday Clock may have reached midnight before then.

Certainly a WW must be in the offing at some point. Unless this time (in human history) is different.

Trump is now back in charge, so there is some hope of world peace again like there was between 2017 and 2021. It wasn't luck that were no wars during his first term.

The warmongering neocons like Biden, Harris and Liz Cheney, Boris, Rishi, Starmer, Macron.. (the list is endless) have been defeated for now...

Except in 2020 in Ethiopia, and between Armenia and Azerbaijan. And the ongoing Syrian, Yemeni, Libyan and Afghanistan civil wars.

              Apart from them. No wars.

              Neocons.

You really have lost the plot. If you ever had it.

Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Like MPs who were found guilty of kicking seven bells out of the girlfriends?

Don't be too sure: the Orange Moron reelection proves how dumb people are.

Not sure which one you are referring to:

                    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catego...cted_of_crimes

its not an either or. Maybe we should treat all convicted offenders as ex MPs?

Could be one of many, but it's easy to forget (or to rely on wikipedia).
Probably not Chris Pincher - it wasn't a girlfriend that he groped.
Imran Ahmad Khan - no, boys for him.
Rob Roberts - well, he said he was sorry, so that makes it OK.
Neil Parish - no that was for beating off, not beating up.
Mike Hill - could be him
Andrew Griffiths - wasn't a girlfriend, it was his wife.
Oh, maybe it was Charlie Elphicke
