Don't buy for a minute that they don't have numerous plans for invasion nor that 47% children is a surprise to them and not a part of all their plans.
You don't really get a war without war crimes, there is always some who break up stress etc. We saw it with our guys in Iraq/Afghan, it's hard to go from fighting for your life against someone and then suddenly having to accept their surrender and treat them real nice whilst your brother they just killed is laying in a ditch. I don't think however that means it's going to be a complete massacre with IDF en masse just mowing everyone down.Comment

Probably just as well Gaza is too close to Israeli population centres to use nukes.
Although, I suspect by the time the Israelis are done, the place will look like it's been nuked.Comment

Even the SS who were all nutters cracked up after shooting civilians. The IDF are principled realists who know the only way to beat Hama is to behave better than them, I suspect some misguided fire but few atrocities.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment

nukes are like chemical weapons. They can be less deadly than conventional munitions but there is a clear psychological barrier to their use.
Remember the tulip storm over Russian using nerve agents in the UK, injured 3, a gun would've been more effective.
Not to mention Israel could just bomb the tiny strip and not break a sweat.Comment

Israeli Prime Minister has ordered the cessation of any medical treatment to terrorists. Claiming that resources are being spread too thin, both medical resources for treatment of civilians and the amount of soldiers who are having to guard them.
The optics of having terrorists in a bed next to their victims was not good, but this just feels like sinister politicking. There can't be that many survivors. Think it would've played better if they just took the moral high ground.Comment

Recorded of course for war crimes. I suspect Hamas will shoot a few civilians in the back, they have form.
Each dwelling ordered to empty, point the evacuated unarmed to safety.
Anyone coming out firing gets a 7.62 round from the sniper
Fly a surveillance drone in the allegedly empty room and use non lethal grenades to clear out any stragglers.
Any firing from the dwelling and out comes a bazooka or similar.
Seems stupid to risk soldiers when a £200 drone will do well enough.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment
