Does this seem high or low? And where would the range (max / min) realistically be?

Feck off, LPM1, you tedious twit. No one gives a crap about your stupid average day rate or salary comparisons.

Yeah 62K average perm salary sounds about right.

95% of permie salaries are probably within 25K to 100K. So i would guess 62.5K is the average.

There is a skills shortage because every company wants to hire from the top 20% of talent, who can command way more than that.

So the top payers get the best talent and everyone else fights over the few top people who are prepared to work for a pittance, like 3K a month.

In case anyone is interested, which seems unlikely. This is what NowPermOutsideUK originally posted.

NowPermOutsideUK - if you want to delete a thread, ask the moderators, and we may do it if you have sound reasons. Otherwise, doing what you did is vandalising the discussion. Have you considered only posting when you're sober?

Maybe jamesbrown's nasty comment is what you should be addressing.

LPM1 is spamming the forum with these threads. In fact, I thought they were threatened with a ban if they did it again…

The comment may appear nasty if you have missed all the crappy threads started and then locked by mods in the professional forums about the same subject.

The wording of the OP’s question implies that he doesn’t know or care, but that he wants us to tell him what we think. He probably works in recruitment, marketing or salary analysis, and is paid to find out opinions.
