Yeah 62K average perm salary sounds about right.

95% of permie salaries are probably within 25K to 100K. So i would guess 62.5K is the average.

There is a skills shortage because every company wants to hire from the top 20% of talent, who can command way more than that.

So the top payers get the best talent and everyone else fights over the few top people who are prepared to work for a pittance, like 3K a month.
