1) it's true, some civilian buildings have been hit but it's the Ukrainians wot done it to their own people to try and make us look bad
2) any "civilian" buildings that have been targeted by us were being used as bases for Ukrainian soldiers, nazis or drug addicts
3) all the genuine civilians have left the country; those people who are left are not civilians, they're enemy fighters. QED, we're not targeting civilians

Russian state-backed news channel RT has had its licence to broadcast in the UK revoked "with immediate effect" by media regulator Ofcom.
The watchdog said RT's parent body ANO TV Novosti was not "fit and proper to hold a UK broadcast licence".
RT's coverage of Russia's invasion of Ukraine has been under investigation by Ofcom, and the channel had already disappeared from UK screens.
RT called Ofcom "a tool of the government".
The channel became unavailable on all UK broadcast platforms earlier this month as a result of a ban imposed by the European Union.
Although the UK is no longer in the EU, the bloc applied sanctions to satellite companies in Luxembourg and France, which provided the RT feed to Sky, Freesat and Freeview in the UK.
OFCOM are a tool of government or didn't RT read it's broadcast license?

Mmm. A drunken idiot.

But not as large a shock as Leoni Fildes had when she woke up to her bank ringing her, after Uber attempted to take a payment of £4,578 nine times.
The 34-year-old had been out celebrating her friend’s birthday on Saturday, March 5, when they started talking about the Ukraine war.
Mum-of-two Leoni said she had downed a ‘few double pink gins’ and had several ‘shots of Sambuca’ when she decided to order a taxi to the war-torn country to try and ‘help’.
Leoni, from Worsley in Greater Manchester, said: ‘I’m 34 – I should know better.
‘The next day I didn’t remember doing it. I was like ‘oh my god’.
‘I woke up to my bank ringing me, thinking my card had been [used fraudulently].
‘Uber tried to take the payment nine times out of my account. They were pretty determined.
‘I had a little flashback when the bank called and I said, “I think it was me – sorry.”
‘Normally, Uber allow a trip in advance but they’ve recently stopped it so I was lucky.
‘I remember when we were looking, we said, “Oh, we’ll get the comfort one.” That’s dearer – the XL one.’
If Leoni had ordered a regular UberX taxi, it would have cost her between £2,564 and £3,313.
But if she had splashed out on an UberXL, it would have cost between £3,688 and £4,758.
Uber’s Comfort option, which offers ‘extra leg room’, temperature and conversation choices, would have cost between £3,014 and £3,891.
She said she was relieved she didn’t have enough money in her account to fund the trip, otherwise she doesn’t know what would have happened.
Leoni added: ‘I’d gone out with one of my friends in Swinton. We came up with the conversation about the war in Ukraine.
‘My boyfriend’s in the military and we were talking about if he had to go. I said, “If he goes, I’m going with him.”
‘One too many drinks later, we were trying to get a taxi home. We said, “Shall we get a taxi and go help them?”
‘I don’t know what I’d do if Uber had let me order it. I don’t think I’d have got in but you don’t know after a drink.

Originally posted by BBCZelensky has again called for a meeting with Putin, saying it will not be possible to negotiate an end to the war unless they meet
If Russia had limited to military targets, maybe... but this is a violent, vicious assault that leaves the country psychologically and economically ruined. How can Ukrainians possibly accept a simple cessation of violence which is the most Putin might offer? They are surely livid and will demand reparations that aren't going to be on offer.
Meeting to "negotiate an end to war" is surely like if a workplace colleague rapes you and you meet up to "hash it out so we can put it behind us and continue working together."
I can see Putin giving up and coming up with some PR to present it as a success but nothing else. Unless Zelensky is just saying "get me in a room with Putin and I'll sort this out." There's also going to be a rapid acceleration in the West to move away entirely from Russian O&G.
