Lawyers are drafting a peace deal between Kyiv and Moscow but a breakthrough depends on the Kremlin accepting a ceasefire, Ukraine’s defence minister has said, as France accused Russia of pretending to negotiate.

Oleksii Reznikov, who has been leading the Ukrainian delegation in the negotiations, said technical work was progressing but that Russia had to stop its shelling for any compromise to be possible.

IMHO, if Ukraine holds out for the next two week, the tide will turn and Putin will be looking for a quick way out.

I was watching something on YouTube the other day that showed all Russian influencers reading from exactly the same script.

I guess Putin didn't realise that you don't go up against comedians, actors or frequent guest panelists if you want to start an information war.

Very inaccurate by any standards particularly the area near Moldova.

Russia keep claiming they don't target civilians but there's an awful lot of bombed out apartment buildings and other civil buildings like hospitals. Parts of some cities look like they've been flattened.
