Of those who voted. The question is whether the majority vote is representative of all people who were eligible to vote. At 52/48, I don't think it's knowable. At 70/30 it would be - and that would be a clear majority. Clear in the sense that there's no way of muddying the result by saying for example "those who didn't vote were in favour of..." or "those who voted in favour were lied to" or "those who voted against didn't understand the consequences" etc. etc.

Similarly a "clear lead" in a race, means you are well ahead. Not just a few paces.

If you have a narrow majority mandate for something, you have to take the large minority's sensibilities into account. If you have a clear majority, then you don't have to so much. If Brexit or Scottish independence had been 70/30, only the most die-hard opponents would be moaning.

No, and I hope I'm wrong, but from most media coverage and my own observations (esp. in the old coalfield areas of West and South Yorkshire) I have the feeling I'm not. R4 were broadcasting interviews with people around Harlow yesterday morning; quite a few mentioned how for once their vote counted and that it felt good, they also predominately wanted immigration sorted.
