    Confused Britain

    https://twitter.com/AlbertoNardelli/...53196783173632

EU citizens should have the right to live and work in the UK:
    36% Yes, 46% No.

British citizens should have the right to live and work in the EU:
    52% Yes, 26% No.
<Insert idea here> will never be adopted because the politicians are in the pockets of the banks!

As that is attainable in principle, it isn't exactly like wanting to have our cake and eat it.

So, even if somewhat unrealistic in practice, arguably it isn't confused at all.

In fact it's a very sound idea

Doesn't everybody read the Hail? Isn't the hail online the most visited English-language newspaper website in the world?

So please elaborate your thoughts in plain English for us out of touch nerds.

                lets change the questions

EU citizens from recently joined countries should be able to undercut wages in established countries with higher costs of living Yes / No

EU citizens that don't primarily compete on price should be allowed to live & work anywhere in the EU - Yes / No
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

Having lived abroad for some time, I can say this is the stereotype that all European citizens have about their immigrants.

All immigrants are poor, unskilled and undercut the local workforce, while "our" expats are educated, rich and benefit the land of destination.

While there could be some truth in it, it's still a stereotype. Politicians and the media love stereotypes. It makes their life so easy!
