Who is 'we' ? and what do you produce?
apart from drivel on here when you're supposedly in contract to do something else?

who is 'us' and how have you been sold out? by who? to whom?

This is the equivalent conversation to Coal Miners meeting down the social club and discussing what went wrong after all the pits had closed sometime in the late 80s/early 90s.

Us = The British. Sold out as in signing a bad deal with India that makes it easier to import cheap workers that undercut us and pay no NI for 3 years, or giving the army training contract to Elbit as its home country commits genocide, and plenty other stupid things that the labour party are doing that undermine the economic and moral foundations of our society. Thats why all those English flags are out because ordinary people realise they are getting screwed and not listened to and its time to stand together. As a Scotsman we like to mock our English cousins as lily-livered southerners, but really the state of England today makes me genuinley sad, and if vulgar displays of nationalism are what it takes to group together and push back, then I am all for it.

You are making a heck of a lot of sweeping statements and you know nothing about me ….nothing.

Who is earning those eye watering amounts …I’m not …it’s like you are jealous of those that do/did…well unfortunately I’m not one of them…

It’s dictatorial ….and bizarre! And ending with a “get used to it”…it would be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic ….

I’m not interested in arguing the toss as we clearly have v differing views .

            Sentence structure is...interesting. Bot?

It's not a dictatorship, it's a democracy. The economy is floundering because of a democratic decision that will surely eventually be reversed by another referendum: Brexit. Everybody knows it, and it's obvious to those who run small to medium businesses.

Some tax tweaking here and there isn't dictatorial. Focus your brain on the true reason for the economic state, which affects every aspect of our lives.

Inability to read, as it is people like you who are entrenched in their misguided ways which is why we're here in the first place from 2016. The contracting market is negatively affected by Brexit, as are the lives of those who read this and live in the UK.

As stated above, it's Brexit. You and others are projecting on to politicians and other posters. People were informed the economy would be severely damaged by Brexit, and what was predicted has come to pass and is continuing to emerge.

Before Labour entered power matters were worse, with the NHS at record high waiting list times and disastrous exfiltration of money from the state by consultancies and outsourcers.

The main issue in middle age is memory loss, which appears to be happening to many people posting in this very long thread.

Oh dear god! The insults just keep coming I’m not a bot what I am is a very worried parent and U.K. born person who despairs at the state of the country.

Calling posters bots when you disagree with them, I’ve heard it all now.

I kept the sentences short so you’d comprehend with not too much difficulty but clearly that didn’t work.

I don't understand politics. If I wanted, I would be on a poltical platform, reading and learning.

However this is site for contractors. I would prefer if we could keep to the current state of the market please.

Brexit is a factor for sure. But I think the "lost decade" post 2008 is an equally big factor. As is govt spending being totally our of control combined with losing just about the entire value-add of manufactoring to China, since the end of the cold war.

                      Nice attempt at whataboutism.

Your post, which I kindly replied to, was the ramblings of a drunk, with "..." throughout it. Go and read it again and see if you recognise yourself.

@Mods NotAllThere this thread needs sorted out.
