This was just emailed into me. State of the market. For Context, I could easily get £600pd outside IR35 in 2019 and I did. It is for a senior dev with Java/Kotlin/GCP for a famous Swedish home furniture brand.

Two of those and you are sorted.

They really are not going to expect much for 350Euros a day. Others will say these gigs are even harder work than 600 a day gigs, but i disagree. Personally i would feel no pressure in a contract like that, i would give them exactly 350 euros of value, if they don't renew the contract because they thought i didn't work hard enough, who cares, no big loss.

On the other hand I was dealing with £10-£100 million pieces of work...

The people that sit on a never ending supply of work either have very good localised networks - i know several PMs that step between the same two or three banking clients for years on end - or have readily available bulk skills, but you could argue that 90% of the them are on inside IR35 roles anyway, whether thy admit it or not.

What they are not is something special and somehow more successful than us high level specialists.
I live in a fairly average sized town with a couple of sizeable companies with IT departments who seem to have a cabal of contractors who just move between the two every few years.

I worked with a few of them once and they are so far caught under IR35 they would need Sat Nav to get out again. It might be lucrative but they are in a world of pain if the HMRC ever take an interest and it isn’t really contracting in my eyes.

Sounds quite easy - I assume they'll be ok with code being delivered with bits missing?
