    Oh and doing something for your community doesn't mean you have to be involved in politics. There's loads of stuff you can volunteer to do in your local area - some of which will be a one off.

    No. But during student rag week, we did produce an issue of our rag mag called "Fascist Layabout" and sold it opposite those who were selling the Socialist Worker. I believe we made rather more money.

    £3.33 per month to join the Greens £1 per month to join the Lib Dems and you can stand to be an elected politician
    £25 per year to be a Tory

    MInd you left wing party membership is expensive-

    Socialist Workers Party won't tell you how much it costs

    Communist Party of Britain does it based on income..

    Mind you I was in a union affiliated to Labour when I was a permie. I'm sure at one point I had to vote for something that had an impact on the Labour party, though I can't remember what it was so long ago.
