I've rented lots of cars and always either have my own 'insurance for car hire' or stump up for the extra cover. In some countries, such as in the middle east and Asia, always pay the extra. They try it on with people who don't buy the insurance, a dishonest business practice

The modern world is all about what to think and not how to think. Influencing is important to enforce the sh*te our superiors wish to infuse our minds with.

If they can get it to work it will be great for rural communities without public transport. Us oldies can just summon a taxi on the app and go where we want providing a useful service where a cars not available or one intends to have a few bevy's at the pub in the next village
