How far apart does the Friday and Monday have to be for one to be safe?

I left a subsidiary of clientCo's parent company in 2004 and returned as a contractor in 2020. They still had an account in my name on the system.

Am I at risk of being considered one of those hated Friday to Monday tax dodging types? Should I just lube up and accept my fate?

I have no fecking clue what plan the Great and the Good in Carmarthen have for Swansea, since it all seems pretty senseless to me.

I think it's an experiment to see if you really can squeeze a gallon into a pint pot and then piss in it too.

Meanwhile the religious twaddle in Lampeter seems to go from strength to strength, which might be explained by the DD of the great panjandrum himself.

A company keeping data it owns doesn't come under either of those. They will have retention polices as a minimum on top of any extenuating circumstances. The public sector haven't been able to close accounts and delete data since the beginning of operation Yew Tree looking at the historical abuse by politicians. I left a client and went back 3 years later and it was like I'd never left. The number of re-occurring meetings that were still going was an eye opener. Took a good couple of hours deleting all the general mails and meeting invites to get a clean mailbox and start again.

The employer is also legally obliged to keep the ex employees data for a period of around 6 years in case there is any employment tribunal or other things raised for a good period after they leave as well. You can do a SAR but you can't do be forgotten.
