NotAllThere replied to Laptop screen size for people with presbyopia (age related long sightedness)?in TechnicalI got effectively that when I had my cataracts treated. One of my eyes is good from 0.5m to 2m - I need reading glasses for close work. The other eye is good for long distance, but anything closer than 1m is blurry.

Sunny day.
Off to the gym in a few minutes - then swim and sauna. Later will nip to Germany to do some shopping. We've run out of fruit and veg.

Denmark provides Greenland's defence. Denmark is a member of NATO. Article 5 means if a member of NATO is attacked, it's considered an attack on all NATO members, and triggers...

Apparently it's very efficient.

House cooling
I've recently had a warm air pump / gas boiler combination installed in my cellar. I'm wondering if it's feasible to take the cold air and vent it up to my bedroom on the third floor, so during summer we can cool the house with the cold air from the warm air pump?

Where I live, motorways are allowed for learners and may feature in the test. Alcohol levels for new drivers are essentially 0. If you screw up during the probationary period, you'll have to redo your test.
The worst drivers are those who've learned elsewhere and just switch their licence...
