Exactly the same for me this. Went at it hammer and tong to start, trawling what I could and couldn't do, trying to run as efficiently as possible and towards the end just let it slip knowing I was still doing 90% of it and the rest wasn't really worth my time....

I suspect there will be two claims on the system. The claim from the 3rd party and the 'Communications Only Claim' so I've a feeling both will be taken in to account. Further explaination below your second point.

Insurance question after a bump
So SWMBO has had a little bump with the neighbour. She was reversing off our drive in to a little side road that feeds 4 houses and someone coming up bumped her. She was far enough out that the other car has hit the rear passenger side bumper/wheel and damaged bonnet and passenger light on other car....Last edited by northernladuk; 30 July 2025, 20:36.

Why should they? All they'll get is problems and cost trying to keep up with vetting and then get stung when one drops through the net and ceases to be operating properly for absolutely zero benefit to HRMC. They police the system, not ensure it works. They aren't going to take all the effort and risk...

Thanks for that. I'll have a look at that. Friend of ours has a DeLonghi (I forget which model) and was impressed with the coffee. Much better than normal instant which has given me the bug. Would be quite happy if that's the level the standard bean to cups are at. Theirs had a massive footprint though...
