Good for you. I need to sign up to some miserable old git therapy lessons....

Can relax as nowt on today for a change, had things on all week. Back to normal tomorrow, volunteer thing at nature reserve followed by lunch with loon lady 1 for her birthday. Dunno why we celebrate birthdays at our age, should be bemoaning them.

Old fart Mahjongy thing this morning. I won again! My mappy thing is just about perfect now, placing pins or lines with specified lat/lon etc exactly as Bing maps.

Old farty coffee morning with history group. An old farty talk afternoon looming, that ghastly ll2 badgered me into. Nice bright day, went for a wander near local town earlier.
Gawd, this darn Epstein thing in the news all the time, was there anyone who didn't know him? Bet some of you...

Much better day today, me coughy thing seems to have gone. Went to Mahjong session this morning. Not much PM apart from me walk and exciting visit to the dump.

No arty thing this morning due to my coughyness. Spent me time clearing stuff in prepartion for visit to dump on Thursday. How exciting! Not! Darn it, I've got green and black stains on me fingers from handling some old printer cartridges. Won't come off, that stuff.

Me too NF. Had horrid cough for a while, then thought it had all gone away on Saturday but it's back. May have to skip my arty thing tomorrow.
PS Maybe I could have passed it to you via tpd. I bet that green vomiting emoji at the right is passing things on.Last edited by xoggoth; 26 January 2026, 20:20.

Quite nice sunny walk with ll1. Have yet to plan which restaurant to take her for her birthday. I really don't like restaurants much, food always a bit *** and portions far too big.

Nahjongy thing this morning. Really tired earlier after another *** night's sleep but felt much better after a brisk walky.
Managed to copy that occasional odd CUK thing at top:

Walk with loony lady 2 earlier, hardly anything of a walk really, she is so decrepid now.
Found much simpler way of doing my mappy things, I hadn't realised that Bing maps handles x,y pixel locations that are not in the current screen area.Last edited by xoggoth; 18 January 2026, 17:51.

Nice sunny few hours with loony lady 1. Glad it wasn't like yesterday, although still some big puddles on the road. Seem to be a few new potholes opened up in last week or two.

I went shopping, driving through badly flooded bits constantly, it's been pouring down all day.

My planned walk today, possibly followed by drop in on ll2, ruined by damn road closures.

Got me 5 warblings ready for Karaoke. 1st for about 2 months after bloke who leads it had a stroke. Hope's he fully ok now. Huge water outages round here so expect everyone will turn up smelly.

New bed delivered this morning, came half an hour early, good thing I'd already got things sorted out. Karaoke back this evening, must get some screechings prepared.
PS Bed did not include the free prostitute I was hoping for. Bah!

A whole 5 today going up to 10 tonight. Would be good if not for 100% heavy rain. Monday meetup has been moved to Tuesday when I 've got me arty thing, so nowt to do for 2 days, apart from drink at village club maybe. Mostly just me and me puppet parrot.

Saw an odd white trail across my lawn, turned out to be feathers. Went up the garden and saw a pigeon wandering about, looked fine but clearly unable to fly. Darn cat maybe. Got me oil tank topped up. Anyway, ll1 bit later.
