Scrabble with old lady neighbour called off as she has to see a dentist so nowt social to do today. Been fixing me bin storage thing this morning. Walk planned later takes me past a sewage works, what fun.

Old fart arty this morning. Tiny bit of rain but so little almost none of it would have reached the ground. At least it was nice and cloudy on me walky.

You lucky sod! Wish there was some way of getting rid of that horrible shiny thing here in the SE.

Yeh, bluddy annoying when they stop selling favourite things, used to like those low sugar apple pies, Weight Watchers ready meals and various other things I can't remember....

Those of us in the SE seem to have the worst of it. 32 today. Not a drop of rain for weeks. Good job I have some permanently shady bits at the bottom of my garden....

Got to take me little van to the village garage for service shortly. Old fart meet up at local manor this afternoon, says it's in a shady place thank gawd.

Waylaid by lady neighbour up the road while on drive cleaning me van before tomorrow's service. Nice lady, but Gordon Bennet, can she yack!

Cockup yesterday, doing a rare clean in my office and sucked a USB stick into the vacuum cleaner. What fun sorting through loads of fluffy mess in the bag....

Went with loony lady 1 on bus to Eastbourne today. Was rather hotter than we hoped but trip was interesting, better view from top deck than when you are driving.

Ah! There's a dead bird, Woodpecker I think, on my front drive. Maybe crashed into my window, but never had that happen at the...

Flipping fire alarm went off last night after I'd got into bed, 2nd time it had done it within a few hours. No smoke that I could see and battery was ok so suppose I need a replacement alarm. Off to yet more mostly old lady stuff soon.

Footpath clearance part done, just two of us. Nice coffe and biccies at other bloke's place.

Little volunteery thing clearing local footpath this morning, else nowt on apart from walk and farting about in the garden.

I'm a pensioner, AKA old fart, but the triple lock is ridiculous and unnafordable. Keeping in line with inflation only would be reasonable.

Rain here lasted less than 5 minutes. Not gonna do much for the plants. Free day today, boring morning fixing some patio slabs.

Not loony lady waiting for some scan results, don't sound good, hope she's ok.

Not doing my woodland volunteery thing this morning, tired and don't fancy working in this ghastly sun anyway. Off on shady walk with ll1 instead a bit later.

U3A, AKA old fart group, coach trip to Weald & Downland museum in Sussex. Spent day with 3 ladies from my art group. Quite fancied the largish lady I sat next to on the coach but she's married darn it.
