      Morning.

      Sunday.

      Dry.

      Sunny.

      Blue sky.

      Bit windy.

NotSoChilly in here at 14.3 deg, ?12? in the kitchen, 11 in the leanto.

1011 mBar, 29.855 in Hg, 758.3 Torr, 14.66 psi, (up from 1001 last night), 65% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 23rd of March 2020 BR14, covbob, DaveB, eek, vetran, xogg and I all popped in.

Walk (unabbreviated, towpath) walked in the brisk wind and sunshine. Another ignorant cyclist who should have met a 9x19 surprised me: no bell, no warning, just hurtled past.

      Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: tinnitus.

      Book.

Freecell score: 88%, running average: 84%.

Tea: beans on toast. Entertainment: Jim Naughtie waffling on about SepticLand.

More Blaze bollox: Beyond skinwalker ranch. Further investigations of that chap who can detect UFOs mentally. .

Sergeant Cork S3 E11 "The case of the Great Pearl robbery". Dear old Roger Delgado again. . Plus John Barron.

Blaze: Ancient unexplained files E1, E2. Archaeology. Mildly inneresting. Apart from the parting of the Red Sea. .

        Morning denizens

Sunny after the storm, though with big piles of cumuli. Still breezy so the current 9°C “feels like” 1°; the expected high is only 10°. The barometers have crept up to 1002/1010mB

I assume said plan involves flying home again via Helsinki, Genoa, and Cairo

            Morning all
CBS and a wee bit blowy this morning.
collated all the bits and bobs scattered over the garden by Dave overnight.
Some of them were actually ours, too

Not this time. Just coming back the same way we came.

There was an option for a trip from London to Warsaw via Cairo when I was looking at weekend trips away. Strangely the 3k price tag didn't strike me as a good deal for the points.

I’ve been working on getting some browser-based tests set up using Playwright for checking the new forum out, though it’s something I was meaning to learn about anyway as the current project at ClientGov will be ending soon and it’s used by the thing I’ll be moving on to

However, it feels like most of the day has been devoted to sorting things out for the Irish Foreign Birth Registration, as my trip to Manchester to get things witnessed will be happening on Wednesday. The main problem has been proofs of address, as the official documentation goes on about “original” documents, and who gets paper bills nowadays? But I eventually stumbled upon the Irish Citizenship sub-Reddit, and lots of people there reckon they’re OK with printed-out PDFs in reality, including people who’ve successfully completed the process. So I’ve been printing out everything suitable I can think of, and will rely on whatever advice is received on Wednesday

Lunch, somewhere in the midst of all that, was a sausage bap; but I had it quite late, and as a result I didn’t feel too peckish this evening. So tea has just been some leftover chicken that needed to be used up

Went to wildlife centre with ll4 this afternoon, lots of things we were supposed to see, red squirrels, grasssnakes etc, didn't see a single one. Short walky after latte and flapjack at cafe.

Wish I could come up with another programming project, can't think of anything more to do with my mappy thing. Keeps me old brain going.

There was some wildlife stuff on around teatime, albeit not as much as usual

And later I watched the latest episode of Ambulance, a cheery episode primarily about end-of-life care

Tonight, I read more of the Rasputin book. He’s getting in the good books of the Imperial Family, but not everybody at court is convinced…

                    Bank Holiday Monday tomorrow!

                    Goodnight all

Pleasant day out but we haven’t been for a walk yet.
