Morning.
Thursday.
Dry.
Blue sky in parts.
Sunny.
23.3 deg in here, 25 Hg deg in the kitchen, 22.5 alcohol deg in the leanto.
1011.5 mBar, 29.87 in Hg, 758.7 Torr, 14.67 psi, (down from 1012 last night), 72% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 28th of March 2020 LM and BR14 managed to squeeze a post or two past Brillo's drivel. BR14 was having a hard time.
Had the upstairs windows open all night, and only needed the cover sheet after 03:00 or so. No dreams to speak of, which made a pleasant change.
Walk (unabbreviated, towpath) walked. The canal is still flowing down that hole up by Calor Gas. Oddly there's a new patch of tarmac on the path. Maybe someone was investigating where the water is going.
Isn't the usual means of plugging such a leak simply dumping some bags of bentonite clay in the hole in the hope that it expands & plugs the leak?
Goodness me, that does seem to be technique that's used. How the feck did I know that?
