    Afternoon denizens

Another grey day, though not rainy, or not at the moment. It’s supposed to be a bit breezy but the minimal motion of the trees suggests that they may be exaggerating when saying the present 7°C, which is the high for the day, “feels like” -2°. The barometers are down a little more at 973/981mB

I had Popeyes chicken and fries for tea. Made a nice change

And I finished watching the C5 thing about the Swedish sisters going crazy on the M6

In Stalingrad, the Russians have encircled the Germans, much to the surprise and dismay of the latter. And it’s still only the start of December! Plenty of winter to come yet…

        Goodnight all

          Morning.

          Saturday.

Restless night for some reason: including trying to remember my batphone number at about 04:30 for no readily apparent reason.

Some of the restlessness might have been due to the intermittently howling gale.

          Wet.

          Grey.

          Sunless.

          Windy.

Chilly in here at 12.9 deg, 12 in the kitchen, 10 in the leanto.

982.5 mBar, 29 in Hg, 736.94 Torr, 14.25 psi, (up from 978.5 last night), 66% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 13th of March 2020 covbob, AndyGarbs, eek, SimonMac, LondonManc, and LM popped in, whilst there was much sniffing & coughing in the computer room in the library in preparation for the Great Toilet Roll hunt.

            Morning all

Sunny, with occasional wisps. Currently 7 degrees ('feels like' 4) with a high of 9 expected. Barometer up to 994 mBar.

            Sunrise 07:51; Sunset 16:37 GMT

HWMBO and I are at Heathrow Terminal 4 for a flight to Paris. Just a quick overnight trip so he secures Flying Blue Platinum. Nice dinner and Sunday lunch planned.
