Oh I’m expecting what I’m currently working on to not have the Middle East expansion we were banking on.Originally posted by WTFH View PostJust been told officially that a second client of mine is having to re-plan a project due to "global events"
which means I will probably finish this project and join my colleagues doing the exact same thing I’m doing at this client at their next client (thankfully it’s quality improvement work so we can hop between competitors merrily)

Afternoon all
Mostly cloudy with occasional gaps. Currently 16 degrees and that's the high for the day. Barometer up to 1029 mBar.

Busy, busy today. I have no idea where the time has gone.
Off to the theatre this evening, leaving HWMBO home alone.

^^^ Warnings from the Met Office (pollen forecast dept) a couple of days ago. Tree pollen.
Morning.
Tuesday apparently which must account for the serial killer dream followed by the working in Silicon Valley dream. Most odd. Don't think I've dreamed of Silicon Valley previously.
Dry.
Wanly sunny.
Blueish sky in parts.
Chilly in here at 13.8 deg, 13? in the kitchen, 12 in the leanto.
1027 mBar, 30.33 in Hg, 770.3 Torr, 14.89 psi, (up from 1025.5 last night), 64% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 23rd of March 2020 Brillo popped in a lot, BR14 and NF popped in, along with Churchill with the sad news of his mum's demise.
Walk (unabbreviated, towpath), walked in the sunshine. Eventually warmed up enough to remove the scarf and open the jacket.
Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: the Radio Astronomy thing waffling on about Mars.
Some minor gardening accomplished. Dunno if the fuchsia will like what I did to it but it's done now.
Getting outside a mug of mediocre but consistent coffee in an attempt to recover from the above. Are one's ears supposed to be ringing when getting up from a crouching position? Askin' for a friend.

Morning denizens
I see I forgot to wish everybody good night last night. Sorry! For the record, I read more of Death’s End, in which humanity once again finds the Universe to be a bit more complicated than they realised
I really struggled to get to sleep last night, not dropping off until past two in the morning. As a result, I seem to have turned the first alarm off this morning without waking up at all. Usually I have some vague recollection of turning it off, but not today
It’s a grey start again, though no showers this time. Currently 8°C (“feels like” 4°) and expected to reach a balmy 15° along with sunny spells this afternoon, while the barometers are back up to 1017/1025mB
One thing I noticed last night, and also this morning, is a slight irritation of the nasal membranes. I’m wondering if the hay fever season may be getting off to an early start

Overcast, but dry here. Warmer than the last couple of mornings.
Is it just me or is Globle (country version) down? I can get into the cities one, but not the countries, where I was up to 199 wins.
In other news, the gardener turned up yesterday (supposed to be once a month but he seems to be coming every other week), so the greenhouse has been emptied, cleaned and tidied up.
