The weather seems to be turning a bit milder, with some just-about-blue streaks visible behind the clouds

In other news, I tweeted (on Bluesky, of course, but I refuse to call them “skeets”) at the chap who’d first made me aware of Barbara Comyns’ work earlier this year, in response to something related he’d posted, to thank him for that. Afternoon all

Cloudy and dull. Currently 9 degrees ('feels like' 7) and the high was 12. Barometer up to 1011 mBar.

Busy morning at the coal face. In between meetings I decided a couple of my pillow cases were a bit to crumpled and this was prime opportunity to test that steamer I bought a while back. Not a bad outcome; they just look slightly dishevelled now. With a bit of practice I could do better but I've never been one for ironing bed linen so I'm not going to start steaming them to perfection.

Need to talk to potential new client but they've not responded to my messages. This could throw all plans awry as communication of decisions is of paramount importance!
