Lunch: some cold cocktail sausages and a bag of crisps

Popped out to the post office to send some tree baubles and a jar of home-made mincemeat up to HWMBO. This morning's sunny outlook has definitely disappeared in favour of a dull grey. The forecast rain was trying to get going with some spits here and there. Chilly breeze too.

The bed linen is nearly all laundered. I will leave the mattress topper for another day; once the rest has dried and I have more room to put it out.

Tea has been some Turkish leftovers

To go with this, The Crash Detectives (though iPlayer seems a little uncertain about whether “The” should be included in the title), with no fatalities for a change!

I finished Sisters By a River tonight. I think I’ll be going straight on to another Barbara Comyns book; they’re very enjoyable

Earlier today I did some stuff with RealityKit, leading to a cube drifting around randomly in 3D space. This may not sound like much, but it means I’ve worked out how to integrate RK with GameplayKit, which provides all kinds of weird and wonderful functionality such as path following and flocking

                Morning all

Wet and windy overnight, but calmed down this morning, although our walk was quite muddy.

                  Morning.

                  Tuesday apparently.

                  Damp.

                  Puddle considerably reduced.

                  Grey.

                  Hints of sun.

Chilly in here at 14.1 deg, 12.5 in the kitchen, 11 in the leanto, 8.5 in the saltinghouse.

1005.5 mBar, 29.69 in Hg, 754.2 Torr, 14.584 psi, (up from 1000 last night), 68% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 6th of March 2020 NF got a ticket for the boring conference on the 20th of May , LM tried but they'd all gone & she was going to be in Oslo that day anyway, whilst NF's car failed the MOT on a lightbulb, then passed when they put a new one in, though a rear tyre had a nail in it.

                    Morning denizens

Very grey day, though if you look closely you can see where some patches of blue might be about to break through. It rained heavily last night and has not long stopped, though supposedly it may resume for a while shortly. The current 7°C “feels like” 2° and the expected high is 9°. The barometers are optimistic though, being up to 997/1005mB

This confused me as I though I hadn’t noticed the advisory, but it turns out I had my timings all wrong!

So it must be that I had the flat, switched to the spare, then that got a nail as well before I'd had the flat repaired

I vaguely recall it now, but there was a lot of other stuff going on at the time to do with a pandemic so I’d forgotten the details
