Trip to the emergency vet resulted in a couple of injections and a booking for a scan first thing tomorrow as the vet is uncertain as to the problem (but has mentioned a few things that are not good).

No TW, but a very sleepy old lady who doesn’t want to move anywhere. At least she seems comfortable right now and her abdomen doesn’t feel as tight.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

She’s currently drugged up to the eyeballs and my wife is doing the first shift beside her tonight. Not sure she’s going to make it to the morning.

Earlier viewing was the usual New Zealand traffic cop stuff. And later, S1E1 of Saving Lives in Leeds on iPlayer, including a remarkable double hand transplant, among other procedures

And then a bit of bedtime reading: Ignition! An Informal History of Liquid Rocket Propellants by John D. Clark

              Goodnight all

She made it through the night!
still very anemic, abdomen swollen more than yesterday and breathing is fast, but she moved her head and has looked up at me.
