Take readings though - when I was switched after my supplier went belly up the money was transferred over but meter readings were "lost".

I always photograph my meters as the gas one is in a difficult place to read so it is easier just to point my mobile phone at it.

I then have a time and date stamped meter reading.

Sometimes I even have the meter number in the picture

It's started raining, which was not forecast :tantrum

I want to take the car for a run in a bit when the traffic has eased off - I need a few bits and bobs from Sainsbury's, as I haven't been there for over a week now due to car battery shenanigans and not needing anything urgently. Ah well, maybe the rain will ease off when the traffic does

Shopping done

Rained fairly steadily on the way there, but it had stopped (apart from one very brief bit of drizzling) coming back. And the shop wasn't too crowded, given the season of the year.

The last Big Chicken they had in stock is no longer in stock, so there will be zingy chicken soup in the fulness of time
