      Mundane laundry on; a Quick Wash, but I bumped the temperature up to 40°C from the default 30° for that programme as doing that now and again seems to help prevent mustiness

                  It brightened up a bit here towards the end of the afternoon, having been mostly grey before that. But now the sun's setting. So much for that

                    More potching about done so the water runs away from where the car is parked so I don't get wet feet.

                    Gradually clouded over until it started raining quite heavily about 10 minutes ago whereupon I called it a day.

                    Excavated down through the pile of rubble until I reached the big feckoff stones that used to make up the crazy paving circular bed thing out the front.

                    Needed to move them so the drain for the pigsty could be unblocked, which it is now.

                    IIRC that's where the midden was.

                    I fell in that when I was about 3 or 4.

                    The memory is with me yet.
                    When the fun stops, STOP.
