Tea: chilli con carne with rice, orange segments and custard, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

    Entertainment (continued):

    "Rambo: Last Blood".

      Towel wash done

And while that was occurring, I finished off The Great Gatsby, it not being a large book. I enjoyed it, but I stand by my opinion that all the people in it are terrible. Maybe that's why I've never been interested in watching one of the films that have been made of it (my Penguin edition, from O Level days, has Mia Farrow and Robert Redford on the cover as, I would assume, Daisy and Gatsby); I suspect they cater largely to an audience that just likes seeing the Twenties clothes and stuff, rather than caring very much about the meaning of it all

Ah yes Rambo : Sly needs to pay the mortgage.

not great Cinema but lots of guns & bangs.

For tea, chicken madras with rice and naan. Very enjoyable; turns out I was just in the mood for something a bit zingy

Probly still paying for Bridgette Nielsen's breast implants.

                Suitably bloody and quite short.

No commentary but there's about 45 minutes of extras.

Worth the £5 I paid for it. .

No telly tonight apart from starting watching Surviving the Virus: My Brother & Me on iPlayer whilst eating.

After that, I read a couple of chapters of John Brooks' Business Adventures, including the one telling the whole story of Ford's Edsel and its spectacular failure in the market

Quite tired after a busy day. Or maybe, Samson-like, having my hair cut has sapped my strength
