Yes, I suspect it’s not as gloomy at home as it is here with dad. Not raining though.

Me Sunday dinner was roast lamb along with roast lamb's heart, followed by stewed blackberries and custard.

In a little while I'll have to trek out to Tesco's to buy the stuff I forgot to buy/couldn't carry yesterday.

Distinct shortage of bells being rung around here earlier.

            <hiatus of 1hr 20mins>

Trip to Tesco's done, with Morrisons done on the way back.

4kg of porridge oats is quite heavy it must be said.

All I need now is a horse to feed them to, or, lacking that, a Pictish person.

Since it's vaguely sunny & currently not precipitating, I may do some more decimation of the shrubs gardening.

"Pass the Agent Orange" gets ever more attractive as an option.

Now how do I get honeysuckle out of the raspberry patch?

Some showers here. During a gap just now I wandered up to the petrol station to collect the new Beatles White Album Remastered box set, which arrived at the Amazon Locker while I was at the conference on Friday. There was a very nice rainbow ahead of me on the way there

spent today remembering absent friends, and paying respects to all the people who gave their lives for the freedom which allows some posters on another thread to refer to them as 'little soldier boys' with no fear of state retaliation.

on a lighter note, - north african chicken and chickpea casserole type thing for dinner.
done in the slow cooker <thanks, NF>

Back home after a weekend in Cardiff for the Wales vs Australia match. Watched the England vs NZ match in a pub near the ground then seats in the stadium for the Wales match as an early birthday present for Mrs. B. Great weekend. Ate too much, drank too much and now feeling a little delicate and ready for an early night.

                      Ah, the warty one.

This evening's epic has been "In the Electric Mist(2009)" with Tommy Lee Jones et al.

In the Electric Mist (2009) - IMDb

It's rather good, though the director's cut is allegedly better.

Having the requisite two copies, I find they're identical.

The Oak Island nubjobs are having the usual amount of success.

Tea was a little of today's lentil <pfffft> soup.

Combined with the dinnertime sprouts, tomorrow should be interesting.
