It's called "scotch" broth for a reason, would probably last 5-6 weeks, unrefrigerated .

I have made a foolish error. I decided a lamb curry with yesterdays leftovers would be a good thing, and due to the paucity of veg in the veg drawer, thought a diced potato would be a good addition. Well, the fecker is steadfastly refusing to cook, despite a foil hat on the pan, copious liquid and an increasingly aggressive flame under the pan.

In an attempt to look on the positive side, I have at least managed to open all the post which has arrived over the last month and consign all but one sheet of paper to the log burner. This hasn't helped my tea but has at least ticked a box on the never ending list of tulip-That-Needs-Doing

Now they've got me shoving cream up my nostrils to protect me from MRSA. A laudable aim, but it makes the inside of my nose feel a bit weird

Anyway, they don't seem bothered about me charging an iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Air simultaneously from the sockets intended for Important Medical Equipment™
