It's beginning to feel that way

Just got to sort out the worktop for this base unit now. Then it's taking down the wall units by the window, painting that alcove, and putting up the two new cupboards; and then the kitchen will be free of flatpacks!

And what is the Super Monkey opinion on Alien3?

Just finished watched a fine selection of dross on Pick, namely 4 eps of the Oz customs thing "Nothing to Declare" which included the usual assortment of drug smugglers, Chinese people with vast suitcases of undeclared food and/or bear bile, Chinese people with Korean passports who don't speak Korean, and some mad Septic from California, a surfing dude, who managed to almost kill himself by overdosing on prescription muscle relaxants while they were searching his stuff.

Was very amused by the 4kg of "Himalayan herbal extracts" which turned out to be pseudoephedrin.

Also caught half the NZ cop thing where the sheer excitement was split between rescuing a stranded cow and the chemical decontamination of a meth lab in the boot of some Heisenberg wannabe that they'd managed to stop.

Full NCB type suited protection during the removal of said chemicals.

According to the tracking, the ZeitMieleTumbleDrier should appear sometime between about 14:00 and 17:00 tomorrow afternoon.

I await its arrival whilst wonder if it's as heavy as the washing machine is.

The disc gave me a choice between the original version or the extended cut, so I went for the latter. It was a bit long, and seemed to ramble on at various points. According to Wikipedia it has some fairly big differences to the original version, so maybe I ought to watch that too.

Anyway, I'd give it two-and-a-half to three stars as seen

The Australian customs one is always good for confirming that thinking it's a good idea to smuggle stuff is proof that you're too stupid to smuggle stuff

Was that Police Ten-Seven? I always enjoy the utter mundanity of so much of what the NZ police do on that

Are you going to perch it on top of the old tumble drier, like with the new telly?
