And, oddly, it wasn't the Finals dream where I've done no work and can't answer any of the questions.
Rather it was some curious exam, which I got Very Good. Try to spread your answers out less to use less paper.
And I had to hold the marked paper very close because I couldn't read the green ink very well.
Most strange.Comment

I had a previously loved one (about 6 years old) which lasted 10 years on rough ground and bought another one about 7 years ago, changed the blade but that's it.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment

A new archive of photos of Leicester has just been put online. Looking at one of nearby Braunstone Gate in 1971, you can see the "Hot Pukka Pies" logo beneath the words "Fish and chips" on the sign projecting from the front of the chip shop on the far right
When I mention seeing Pukka Pie signs on chip shops during brief family visits here in the late 1960s and early 1970s, that's the kind of sign I'm thinking of
That chip shop expanded by knocking through into the shop next door and by the mid 1980s was in the hands of a chap called Mario, who made a fortune by staying open until four in the morning to cater for the late night drinkers trade - people would have their taxi home from the club make a detour to go there. He finally sold up around the turn of the century, gambled much of his money away in a casino in town, and died of an alcohol-related disorder. The most recent owners of the chip shop paid even less attention to basic hygiene than he did and also abandoned any effort towards food quality. The place is currently closed
Surprisingly, those buildings have all survived the general destruction of most of that area by the city council: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.63...8i6656!6m1!1e1Comment
