Got to care home, laden with chocolates (Dairy Milk gigantic box ripoff special, more packing than chocs version) plus a M&S birthday cake.

Been there 5 minutes, when ZeitMater starts throwing up.

Hung about for 20 minutes then buggered off before (hopefully) catching anything.

Clear bloo skies today with a bit of frost on the ground. I think this sudden abundance of sunlight is responsible for the state of my appetite at the moment. Is it snack time already?

There was a remarkably fine sunrise visible from the Fosse Way just after seven this morning

Also a remarkably fine crash on the other side/middle of the A52, though I doubt the crashees felt the same way

I just realised I'd missed a couple of major requirements out of something that's supposed to be finished today, and I wasn't even bothered. Got one of them sorted in about five minutes

They are just making sure there is no sign of D&C and so are not going to be caught be IR35...

I think it was a case of they're on another job elsewhere, and the main guy is obliging me by doing the work this week rather than next.
