you missed what I did there. 0.5% is the annual rate of interest. As HMRC don't do compound interest it works out at roughly 0.37% if you pay immediately....merely at clientco for the entertainment -
What's that? A protégé of Margaret Thatcher and aide to David Cameron busted over child porn? Well, well.Comment

One of the 1 2 3 jobbies? Keep thinking about switching, but you need to credit 1K a month to get the rate. My typical month is under that, with a nice one off divvy at the beginning of the year.Originally posted by Bunk View PostI get 3% on my current account, which is about 1.31 more than my savings account

Just checked - it's £500 per month - even I earn that much
Might switch - been with First Direct for years and am happy with them, but 3% is pretty reasonable compared to the paltry interest on my savings I get at the moment.
Santander have just reduced the interest on my ISA though.

Forgot to make the pancake batter last night so tonight will have to do.
On the menu:
Creamed mushroom, thyme and garlic filling
Parma ham and parmesan filling
And last but not least good old lemon juice with sugarComment
